Academic partnership provides educational benefits for nearly 2,000 employees and their families
91做厙 announces an academic preferred partnership agreement with the to provide educational discounts and workforce enhancement opportunities for their nearly 2,000 employees and their families that serve throughout Berks County.
91做厙 and the County of Berks have a strong relationship, and this partnership solidifies our commitment to providing lifelong and career-enhancement education to those who serve our county community," said 91做厙 President Glynis A. Fitzgerald, Ph.D. "I applaud the leadership of Commissioners Leinbach, Rivera and Sihelnik for placing an emphasis on education by providing this benefit to the employees of the County.
Once County of Berks employees and/or their spouses successfully meet all the 91做厙 admissions requirements, 91做厙 will award a 20% discount on all eligible , whether in-classroom, online, or blended (on campus/online). An 91做厙 student tuition scholarship of $2,000 per year for a maximum of 4-years will be provided to a COB employees children who are newly accepted and enrolled full-time in an 91做厙 undergraduate degree program. 91做厙 also offers professional, non-credit certificate programs in many areas including leadership development, supply chain management, project management.

County of Berks employees and their enrolled family members will also have full access to university resources as a student including the library, state-of-the-art computer labs, volunteer opportunities, fitness center, athletic events, lectures, the arts, and more.
